Anacapa (via Dehlsen Associates LLC) has been awarded technical support from Sandia National Laboratories via the U.S. Department of Energy’s TEAMER program, under Request for Technical Support (RFTS) 18. This funding will support the evaluation of the utility-scale LN12 WEC through computational fluid dynamics (CFD), providing ultimate loads for Anacapa’s engineering efforts. This brings utility scale wave energy via the LumaNet platform closer to realization.
